As long as you wait until after the course is over before you even consider asking her and that includes giving winks in class ... don't do anything that would be considered improper. If you know you'll have her in a future class, likewise don't ask her or recuse yourself from that class.

And bottomline ... in this situation it's much like asking someone out in the workplace. Ask once and if they say Yes it's all right, but if they say No ... that's it ... never ask again. The risk of their being problems with Harassment or accusations of improper behavior are really only an issue if you keep pushing the issue.

Remember, worse case scenario ... there are always more fish in the sea.

Just be careful and use your head (the one on the top of your shoulders) and you'll be fine.

I don't really see what the problems is if you ask her after the semester is over and your no longer her TA.

Check your universities policies.

Senior in college? No, nothing wrong with it, unless it would be from a teacher/student relationship standpoint.

I would wait until she has graduated therefore the student/teacher bond would not be broken, and you can loose your job over a small thing......

Sounds like a question for your boss. You could just wait till she get out of your class.

Once you no longer have a teacher/student relationship, should not be a problem. But she cannot be in your class--raises issues such as sexual harassment, etc.
