When you say "age" a Dunhill lighter, do you mean how can you make it look older than it is? Or do you mean how do you "date" it to find out how old it is ?
I really don`t think you would want to "age" it, there is no point in doing that!
Truthfully, I do not know anything about lighters, except that they were very popular from the 1920`s to about the 1960`s. If it is a petrol lighter it will probably be before 1960 because that is about the time they started to manufacture the gas-fluid type lighters. Dunhill were one of the better quality makers, I remember my grand-father having a Dunhill, he also smoked their cigarettes. Why don`t you write to Dunhill and ask them about it?
