I have these Eygptian cotton towels that are a light brown that have gotten these pinkish orange stains on them after I have washed them. I don't put bleach in the wash and I only get these stains after I wash them. I use ALL detergent and occasionally OxyClean. I would like to know what causes these stains. Any sound advice would be much appreciated.

I'm having the same problems, and its only on my tan and green towels, the only thing I've come up with is that its a chemical in my face wash that sits on the towel until you wash it and then it acts as bleach and stains the towel. I've just tried to keep using the same towel for my face so I don't ruin the others. I'd love to know if its me or if its the brand of towel. It's really strange!

I have the same problem with mine. I first had it with my washcloths about the time I started to use proactive. I quit using this product and have not had any other spots as of yet.
