Most of my books are very disorganized. Theyr'e not even close to alphabetical. The dictionaries are the only ones that make any attempt at it. I actually have one book that begins with the word "Yesterday...".
I'd like to scan all my books and alphabetize them. It seems ridiculous to have to do this. Don't publishers think at all before they publish a book?

Fiction books I sort by authors, date. Non fiction by subject, author, title.

That is the way I do it. I have a database which will automatically sort them for me.

Of course, space is still an issue.

Set them up by authors name, then alphabetise the authors.

Thats what I do.
