This is the best website that I have found as far as showing you how to properly sex your rabbit.

Three months old should be plenty old enough to tell. If you are still having problems after trying the way the site I showed you recommends. See if you can find anyone around your area that shows rabbits, in 4-H or in the ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association). People who show them can often tell even better than many veterinarians can as to what the sex is. People that show rabbits are normally more than happy to help other people out that raise rabbits and they most likely won't charge you a cent to sex it.

Sometimes vets look to see if the male has testicles that are descended, which is one way to tell provided they are descended. However, sometimes a male's testicles won't ever descend or they won't descend for a good while. Normally they descend by the time they reach 4-6 months. Once you've raised rabbits for a long time, you can almost tell by just looking at them. Males usually have a slightly different body type and their heads are usually a little more blockish or squarish in nature, whereas the female's is a little more pointed.

The only true way to tell the sex though is by using the method from the website I provided.

The presence of a dewlap also can be deceptive, because some males will also develop a dewlap. Dewlaps are more prevalent in females, especially as they get older, but males can sometimes have small ones too.

The 9 month old pictures give you the best differentiating views as examples. The male's will protrude round. The females will protrude ovular and will have a slit down the middle. Make sure to press down hard enough to get the organs to protrude properly so you can make a good determination. The older the rabbit is the easier it will be to tell.

If you don't see the scrotal sacks at three months, then you most likely have a girl, but it depends on the breed. Some will develop faster than others. Also, girls will develop a "dewlap" or flap of skin under their chins.

You can usually tell if he is a boy, if it looks like he has a butt. Like two big balls without hair on them. (No Joke)
