The constant news of takeovers unsettling the club? The signing of Tevez and Mascherano? Reality settling in, and last season was a fluke?

I think West Ham's decline is due to how their manager Alan Pardew has been reacting towards this takeover bid. He seems to want to involve the players as well yet realistically, a takeover should not affect the players, particularly the best anyway.
He tried, as they progressed in their premiership games, to shift the blame on Tevez and Mascherano's arrival, but noone was going to buy that. He never, from the onset, appreciated the arrival of these two players such that he dreaded putting them in the starting line up. It is this manager's attitude which I believe, has unsettled the players. He still has the same players who zealously gave their best for the team and mind you, last season was no fluke for this amazing club.
If they are to rewrite those glorious days of last season, I think Alan Pardew must concentrate on giving encouragement to his team instead of trying to involve them with the takeover. Takeovers after all should not be viewed suspiciously, look at ManU; their takeover by Malcolm Glazier didn't even affect Sir Alex Fergurson and neither did it affect the players. But just see what it is doing to Alan Pardew, and you end up assuming that maybe he knows more about what is at stake here with regard to this takeover. I think those bidding might not have been impressed by his management style hence his uneasiness.
We are just watching from the sidelines, only time will tell.

Why is everyone blaming the Argies, the players at West Ham get payed alot of money to play football, in the game players come and go and normally players except it if they cant then maybe they should train on their own for unsettling the team, the truth is West Ham had already Brought in around seven new players this season with out the Argies, Making around Nine new signings overall, what team has made that many signings this season and started well, look at Spurs, Liverpool etc the only team not to add many players are the current leaders who i believe only really added Carrick. Hopefully we can kick off from here now though as we only have Man U to play in the next few weeks then we have an easier run of teams until well into the new year, here's hoping Pards will get the time to prove what he can do under the new owners

I think that you have to point the finger at Pardew, hes made a few good signings (albeit paid far too much for them), but he's not handled any situation right this season.

He gets given two of the best players in the world and then blames them for runining the atmosphere within the side - any other manager would have been over the moon, but hes basically ruining Tevez and Mascherano it was obvious on saturday that Tevez is playing with no confidence he doesn't seem to be the same person that was at the world cup.

And am sorry but the only person to blame for the shambles they are in is Pardew. The best managers handle dips in form and shake ups within the club and do their best to shield the players from it - Pardew has done nothing but point fingers.

The sooner West Ham get rid on him the better they will be.

I dont think anuone expected them to do well last season and maybe a number of teams underestimated them. Also they were fighting for everything in order just to retain their Prem status. This season after Tevez and Mascherano arrived, expectations from the supporters went sky high and after a couple of bad results they were on the players backs. It's a bit of a confidence thing and getting a run of results. They are very similar to Spurs who have also failed this season to build on the back of a good one last year.

Don't think last season was a fluke.
Yes the takeover and Argies are unsettling and we really need Dean Ashton back from injury.
Get the Argies out and put Pardew back in control.

Last season was a fluke. They do not have enough experienced big name players to compete with the big three and the two Argentinians they got was a bad move for both them and the players but it's business.
