Yes charges can be brought against him. If he's serious then, he needs to wait until you are 18. You need to be concentrating on your school work and not worrying about boys and having sex. What you do now is going to help shape your life and you don't want to lose opportunities because you're involved with an 18 year old. This guy knows what he's doing getting involved with you. His first priority is to have sex with you and he not get into any legal trouble otherwise, he wouldn't be talking about waiting until you turn 16. If he says he loves you, then tell him you'll discuss this with your mother and see what he says. You can be 15, 16 or any teen, but having sex this young is going to bring about trouble.

This just happened in my school on Friday. An 18 year old senior was with a 15 (almost 16) year old sophomore and her parents found out. They had the police show up at school and it was a terrible mess. In Indiana the age of consent is 16.

You don't want to hear this but at 15 or 16 you should not even be thinking of having sex with any adult male. What if you get pregant or catch an STD, are you ready for that? Yes, he is an adult and could be charged with rape and if I was your parents, I'd make sure of it. You are too young, he is taking advantage of you. Tell him to find someone his own age and let you grow up like you should be doing.

Yes.
You should wait. If he loves you (which it looks like he does) he will wait. You shouldn't rush into this, you only get one chance and it should be open and not sneeking around.
Remember the protection and be comfortable with yourself and the situation.
Wait - it will be worth it.
