All you have to do is take your original receipt or invoice to any Cingular Owned Retail store and they'll exchange the battery for you if they have it in stock. If they don't, they'll have it sent to you. If you don't have your original Proof of Purchase paperwork and you purchased your phone in the store, they may be able to look up the purchase in their computer.
Customer Care is NOT able to send out duplicate invoices.

yes you can go to them clueless and say my phone won't work they will say try a new battery keep in mind that if you dunked your phone in water they will know i dropped my phone in a pool once they didn't replace it
