Nothing much in terms of judgemental statements. He does cover Stalin's life from his childhood to his death very well.

The interesting thing that comes to mind is that Bullock mentioned was that when Germany invaded Russia & the top communist party officials when to Stalin's apartment, he was downcast as he expected that he would be arrested & executed when they in, fact, were seeking for his leadership.
