you blokes are so protective over your daughters -trust her judgement and let her learn through her own mistakes she wont thank you for interfering, just be there for her if it doesn't work out. you sound like a great caring dad the last thing you want to do is fall out with your daughter.

I havent read your previous letter, so dont know what went on. Regarding the future son in law. Not sure if this is your first ever meeting with him. If it was then he's maybe nervous about meeting you for the first time? On the house front, give him the chance to explain himself and if the story is feeble, then have words with him!

Depends on what your daughters reaction will be if you do anything to him, you know what love is like, she may be annoyed with you if you kick the t*wat into touch. The best way to play it is to be sly, be very sly. pop a few laxatives in his drink, pop a bit of fibre glass in his underwear (obviously from the washed laundry basket) call him (accidently) by your daughters ex-boyfriends name a few times. give him loads but be very very sly. By the sound of it, he probably has no balls

Chill axe dude..I mena...your actually talking about stringing your potential son in law in a torturous manner...I know it's just an expression but...look at you...lookk at this whole freakin world...everyone needs to shut up dam...uh...*ahem...put your self in his place...maybe if you had a friendship w/ the kid he would be a little more easy around you...I mean...he kind of does owe her an apology but I don't know whats going on between them so I can't tell...sounds like they might be heading for a break up...if you tried to relate to these kids you might get in the loop and find out whats going on instead of being hardcore daddio...although I'm sure your better than my parents used to be...what they put me through was mind torture...still parents aren't known for their efforts in trying to relate to their kids...they have all these excuses...oh I'm not supposed to be his/her friend...I'm their parent...and other media hype...I say do your best and it will pay off...good luck...
