No, the only thing corporal punishment taught me was to never get caught. I was never explained what I did was wrong. In some cases I never knew what I did.

To me, corporal punishment is worse than useless. It teaches a kid that hitting is the way to solve a problem. If somebody can't think up a better way to discipline a student, then they don't need to be teaching.

I am not for hitting anyone. While hitting someone you teach him aggressiveness as a way of dealing things. Words are better in education. Don't shout, don't cry. Tell the right thing, from the bottom of your heart, tell the huge disappointment that covered your heart while facing the situation and you'll see the effect.

No. Hitting is a cop-out and it only teaches more hitting.

I dont see anything wrong with it they used it when I was in school and it didnt kill me
