I rent my apartment and when the heat is kicked on the air coming out is barely warm. Even when I turn it on 80. I have propane gas. Any advice?

The heating process is slow and works best at a set temperature. Turning it from 50 to 80 will not make it hotter...it will just run longer until the desired temp is achieved. You may have a problem but I don't think so. If gas usage is way up (ask the landlord) or the unit will not maintain a constant temperature, you might need to call a tech guy ( or have the landlord call someone, if you call then you may be responsible for the bill)

If you also have a heat pump, this is normal. Go out side (if they are on the ground) and see if your air conditioner is running when the heat is on. If so, then you have a dual-fuel heat pump and will not get very warm air out of the vents until it gets colder outside.

Your duct may be disconnected or improperly sealed , propane is an excellent heating source. You apt should heat up quickly . An h.v.a.c service call should be able to spot the prob rite away . wish you gave some more info so i could have helped more
