Sorry but I have to say upstate NY. I travel A LOT and the people that are the coldest are from the Newburg area. Trust me, I've met a huge number of people from all over the world but for some reason Newburg has always stuck out in my mind for being the worst.

New York and New Jersey. I would never live in either state. As for Ricki who said Texas especially Dallas was unfriendly...you must have met some who are not true Texans. We are a friendly state.

Florida. They hold minors there in this drug rehab for years against their will...it's like going to jail without due process...the place is called Straight Inc. and they have 12 hour a day physical group raps and treat the kids worse than inmates...watch you while you go to the bathroom, hold you by the beltloop everytime you go anywhere, among other things...it's basically mind torture...I've also been pulled over and issued citations in florida for no apparent reason i.e. coz I pulled through a gas station...had my license suspended...I've had people throw stuff at me down therewhile walking down the side of the road...the people in florida are basically scared to death...you will get pulled over if your tags are expired or if you have a light out w/ in 2 blocks of anywhere you started from...police are everywhere harassing their citizens...it's a nightmare...I would never go down south again...no way...

Actually I went to Minnesota (lay over) and had this notion that it being big and bustling that people would be rude. I conducted a sociology experiment, I smiled at everyone I saw, and just about everyone smiled back at me, or started up chit chat.
