i own a repair shop, and the radiator needs to be took off ,and flushed out real good on it,it not letting the coolant flow through it good enough to keep it cooled down, but this isn't a hard job to do,,but either that or the water pump fins are so worn out on it that its not pushing the water through it good enough, but id try the radiator first, and also check the thermostat why you got it down,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

Normal operation: coolant exits the engine throught the top hose, therefore it will be just a few degrees cooler than the engine. After entering the radiator, the coolant leaves via the lower hose, therefore it will be cooler. If anything was plugged up enough to cause any problems it would throw out a lot of water. Or if not circulating the lower hose would also be hot. Before you spend a lot of money pulling the radiator and rodding it out, I would replace the thermostat first.

That's just not right... I can't even fathom an answer for that... At normal operating temp the fluid coming out of the engine is heated and thus should be warm too at the very least... The bottom hose going into the radiator should be heated and the upper hose should not if it were the radiator, otherwise it should be all heated...

Make sure your radiator is full and if it is then
your thermostat is stuck close and you will need
a new one. it takes about 5 to 15 minutes to put it in and cost you 7 to 20 bucks.

Stuck thermostat or cooling system restriction. Take it to a shop and see if they can flush it. If they can't then you have to get thermostat replaced,or find restriction
