No!! You cant even reach the end of a rainbow no matter how hard you try!!! You can never actually reach the end of a rainbow, where a pot of gold supposedly awaits. As you move, the rainbow that your eyes see moves as well, because the raindrops are at different spots in the atmosphere. The rainbow, then, will always "move away" at the same rate that you are moving.

There is no end to a rainbow. A rainbow is a whole circle. We only see half of the circle which makes it look like there are two ends. The pot of gold is just a silly little myth for the kids.

Yes, of course there is. The problem is getting to the flamin' thing. I remember driving across the countryside with my dad when we were little. We went down country lanes and over farm tracks chasing this flippin' rainbow. And would the end of it stay still? Would it chutney! We got so close at one point that we could almost see the bottom in the very next field, but by the time we got there it'd gone. But we had the most magical day.
The dream was there, and my pot of gold was that amazing drive with my dad. It's fixed there in my brain forever.

well the only person who would know that is someone who found the end of the rainbow and since no one I know has ever found the end, I can't really tell you, but if I were you I would head after the first rainbow you can find and go hunting for some gold!

The end of the rainbow is even imaginary so that the tale will keep going and people will try to get rich or die trying for that pot of gold.
