In the 23 years of having a period, I have never had a regular 28 day cycle. Most women do not have a regular 28 day cycle-28 days is just an average figure. I have had cycles as short as 18 days and cycles as long as 50 days. You are freaking out for no reason.

Having irregular cylces is not the only symptom of PCS. If you are really concerned make an appointment with your doctor. He or she is the only one who will be able to determine whether you have the disease, not anyone on yahoo.

The 28 day cycle is an average, not a specification. Some women have a much longer or shorter cycle depending on their particular metabolic rates. The fact that you are a little overweight, by your own words, can also change your metabolism, possibly lengthening your cycle. If you have had no pain or other symptoms, there is no reason to think that you'd have cystic ovaries. It should not interfere with pregnancy at all. If you have real concerns, which at this point I see no reason to be concerned, then you should simply make an appointment with a good OB/GYN. Good luck and take care.

For one what would make you think you have polycystic ovary were you told by the doctor that? If not then I wouldnt be worrying about that until You get a doctor to check it out. It could be many things that cause mixed up periods even emotional stress can be one of them.
Stress can make you early and can certain make you late.
Your body can be going through a cycle change sometimes the body does that. Your period can be regular always at first of month then whammmmm suddenly your body decides it's going to change now your period starts at middle or end of month.

Now if your having period say every two weeks irregualr bleeding like that I would be concerned and go get an ultrasound done. spotting could be sign of infection sign of cyst sign of fyroids or other cervix problems so for your peace of mind just go get exam get ultrasound done.
Especially if you really wanna have a baby now or later on get it looked at find out for sure.
Your only 22 you should be ok but still go to your doctor get your ultrasound done and see whats going on. Remember some woman's bodies just function differently.

di u get your stomach checked by the dr and is that how u found out that you have polycystic ovary????????

well it is normal for some female to have this period problem because I have the same problem present right now but that is also due to dieting exercise and stressing...your body is adjusting to all the new things u r doing to it. that is why ur period date fluctuate time to time.
did u know exercising can reduce the chances of getting pregnant..... go online and do a research it is a fact.....and don't freak out when ur menstruall period date changes cuz u r sending wrong signals to your body so it starts thinking its own language.
hope this helps

i had the same problem a couple of years ago. there are a number of reasons for your condition as the other people have stated, and yes, polycystic ovaries is a possible reason. i know because i was diagnosed with the same. there are different levels of that condition as i understand it. you need to see your doctor, who will send you to have a blood test and an ultrasound.
my doctor put me on the pill, as that helps regulate your periods. and it shouldn't be a problem getting pregnant, as i am pregnant at the moment with my first and i did not even have to try hard at all. i got pregnant within weeks of us trying..
just go see your doc.
