He establish the precedent that a president should serve no more that two terms.

He began the dominance of the federal government by summoning State militia troops to attack farmers during the “Whiskey Rebellion” which was cause by his excise tax on distilled spirits. By the way, he commanded these troops in the field as president.

Randy has some very good points but other than relenquishing power none of them are as important as Washington establishing the Federal Banking System.
