I think so. They won three Super Bowls. They won when they had to and beat the best teams to get there. What else can you ask of them? No team continues to dominate forever but they still have to be considered a potential Super Bowl team. I'd call that pretty awesome.
I know that when I was growing up in the 70's the Steelers and the Cowboys were the yardstick that others were measured by as they won and won. Now it's the Patriots.
Before you think that I am a New Englander just touting his team I'll tell you that I live in Indianapolis and was a Steelers fan before the Colts came and now have to split my time between those two teams. The Pats sat them both down so my hats are off to them. May the best team win. Lately it's been the Patriots, Steelers, and Colts.

Yes, with out a doubt. They have done something that no team has done since the Salary Cap Era. Don't get me wrong, 49ers, Steelers, Cowboys are great Dynasties. The Patriots had to do it with only a certain amount of money. That makes what the Patriots did a lot more special.

This years team no but in the teams all togeher in the 2003-2004 team was one of the best ever. The best ever though? I am not sure the Bears of 85, Packers of the 60's, Steelers of the 70's, 49ers of the 80's, and the Cowboys of the 90's are all considered the best teams ever with the Pats.

ya definently! tom brady is like one of the best QB of all time!! i am a huge patriots fan i think that the patriots will for sure show that they are a great team on the field today against the packers!
Go Pats!
and oh yeah that user who responded to this question who said that tom brady sucks doesn't no what he is talking about. if brady sucked so much how would he have 3 superbowl rings and have 2 MVP titles? he is the only player in NFL history to receive 3 rings before his 28th birthday...so i think that u should rethink when u say that he sucks...because in all retrospect he doesn't
GO Pats...again!

They're a solid team, but they aren't the best of any given decade. They have to play just like everybody else on lousy field conditions, injuries etc & their second team guys are average at best. They are a better than average team, no more.

Absolutely not! The big bad Bears have most of the records.Check the stats ,they go back to the 1920.The Bears are more responsible for the NFL than any other team.Without them there would be no pro-football---fact.How do you think they got the name "Monsters of the Midway". ???

Yes, they did it in a era with the salary cap, so that makes their
achievement all the more impressive. The record speaks for itself.
