The answer is 12. if 7+?=10 then 10-7=? this is 3. If 3 is a quarter then multiply by 4 to get the answer.

12 because 3 is a quarter of 12 and 3 plus 7 is 10

to work it out take 7 off 10, leaving 3. this is the quarter, so multiply it by 4. 3 x 4 = 12

You will probably need to know how to do it also

Take the 7 away from the 10 which leaves 3 x 4 = 12

This problem is easiest to figure out for me if I work backwards or form an equation. The equation would be 10=7+(1/4*x) then you subtract 7 from both sides giving you 3=(1/4*x) then you divide 1/4 from each side giving you 12=x
Or you work backwawrds. the answer is 10. If you subtract 7, that gives you 3. Since you know 3 is one fourth of the number you need, you multiply it by 4. so your answer is 12.
