"Hi there" is a good start.
Then ask if she isn't in that same class, and then ask what she thinks about the instructor. You take it from there.

C'mon guy, you gotta get her attention somehow. I always like to refer to something else going on if I can't approach her directly.
Like "How about that painting?" or "Big holiday coming up, another break from school !" Just get a response, but don't push. At least you'll get her attention and try again soon.

If you really want to get to be friends with her try these things. Whenever you were around her go ahead and say hi to her, but don't make yourself out to be a pest, because there's one thing that girls really hate and that is a guy that tries to be a show off. Make sure that you don't make yourself a nuisance, and one thing that I found out was make sure you be nice to her friends even if you don't like them. Because you want them to say nice things about you to her so that she will think that you are at least a nice guy. Good luck

Say hi my name is____ and tell her you have been wanting to talk to her for a long time, but didnt know what to say. If she asks why you decided to talk to her now then.. say you just wanted to give it a shot. Then get into some casual talk like so do you like this class ect. then the conversation will rreally get goin :)

Find something that you both apreciate like arts or the outdoors, and just go up to her and ask her about something specefic, like if you know that shes seen a certain exhibit ask her what she thought about it. Hope this helps. One thing I would suggest is eye contact instead of you looking at her breasts, girls notice these things and most dont appreciate it.

Find out what she's into (music, movies, whatever) and talk to her about those subjects. Don't lie, though. In other words, don't say "hey I heard you're into [type of music]...you know I met them once backstage," ... but the truth is you hate that music and never did meet them.

ask her for a pen and the next day or when ever u see her, gove back her pen and say a complement and walk away, she will wanna talk to you more! or you could ask her for a pen then write your phone number on her hand.

Make a comment about her hair are her clothes. Tell her you like how it looks on her. And then u could ask her out.
