I computed my free throw average on my calculator and got0.6019. My friend computed hers and got 0.602. And my brother free throw average was 0.62. How am i supposed to figure out whos the best free throw shooter out of the 3 of us?

The one with the highest average would be the best free throw shooter.
your average would be .6019 rounded to the nearest hundreths would be .60
your friend would also be .60 after her score was rounded
your brothers average is .62 which is greater than .60 so he is the best shooter.

Your brother has the best free throw average. .62 is higher than the other two by a little bit. When you look at the hundreths place your brother has a higher number. So his decimal is larger.

Your brother has the best. Your average is second just slightly better than you friends. Your brother's average extended out to the same decimal place as yourswould be0.6200. .62 is higher than .60. .6020 is .0001 higher than .0019 and point .62 is .0180 higher than the next highest of .6020.
