i had norton virus scan and i took that off cause it expried should i take off the norton securtiy center too or do i need that

I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...! Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

Most likely if the antivirus expired then the entire security suite expired. You're going to need some type of internet protection. Either renew or start looking into the free alternatives:

You should update NAV and NSC instead of removing them. They are critical to using the internet, or you will get worms and viruses. Or you can get another anti-virus/security program. But you MUST have some type of anitvirus or you WILL get a virus.

your protection expired the day you installed Norton.... how about research a decent anti virus that works!!! try panda, it's cheaper than Norton but is far far far Superior.

In my opinion you should stay with norton because its one of the best security centers online ok
