i know that straight people and gay people are the same generally, but i just strongly like gays.
i can't help but squirm when i see gays, they are so cute and perfact...
i don't really know how to explain this, is my over liking of gays means something wrog with me?
i know it's quite a strange question, but someone mentioned to me that it's not normal to treat gays like this(and she's a big homophobe)
so i just wanted your opinion.

I don't think it's unreasonable. Gay guys are, after all, superior in every way to straight men. :-) You might want to try to get to know a few gay guys better, you might realize that we're rarely as cute/perfect as you might think. It seems like every girl these days dreams of having a gay best friend, but it can sometimes be insulting on the other end when we're expected to satisfy the confidant/gal pal/shopping buddy image to which far from all of us conform.

It's not at all unusual for straight women to be drawn toward gay men. After all, gay men can embody all the positive traits that women seek without the negatives. That is to say, you can hang around with an attractive, sensitive guy without having to worry about him trying to hook up with you. Furthermore, straight women often find gay guys more candid because they don't feel the need to put up the tough-guy facade. It's such a common trend, that there is a tongue-in-cheek term for women who spend a disproportionate amount of their time around gay men: The "f*g hag." So go ahead and enjoy a gay guy's companionship. And thanks for your acceptance -- there is absolutely _nothing_ wrong with you.

Ah I have that too! I love gay men especially, being a straight girl. Theyre just so sensitive and lovely (the girly ones anyway!) and my greatest fantasy is seeing two gay men who love each other makin out (n more!) I just think theyre more openly affectionate, which can be a big turn on for us gals!

I have found that a lot of gay men don't feel obligated to put on a "butch" act the way that a lot of straight guys do. Gay men mostly just act like themselves, and are more likely to accept others for who they are. Could this be what you're responding to?

I think it's pretty common. I'm always popular with girls I work with, and some female customers, and a lot are really nosy about my sex-life! They usually call me "sweet", which I don't mind. I don't really know why it is, but I have wondered if they actually feel that about other young men but wouldn't like to say it in case it seemed like a come-on.
The only thing I don't like is when they call me 'one of the girls'. I mean, we both fancy men, but that's pretty much where the resemblance ends!
I don't think it's wrong of you - everyone likes different things, and you're certainly not alone. Stay being open-minded, and ignore your ignorant friends - it's their loss.

Compromise! Metrosexuals are straight men who act gay. This is the kind of guy for you. I don't know where you will find one but I have friends that are that way.

Have you seen Will and Grace.
Women relate to gay men, and feel safe around them.
We have terms for people like you and we love you !!!

It's all in the mind. You can always delete your negative thoughts, if you want to. If you let your emotions rule over your heart and your head, that is the time when things go wrong and dysfunctional, specifically for you..

normal people are weird! you shouldn't want to be "normal" like the others. it may be exetremly hard for you toexcept that you like gay men, but, you must! be who you are.
I think gay men are adorable too! but i don't like them in that way.
