No, it's just another excuse to vandalize, usually while plastered. Too bad college kids don't have (or don't THINK they have) something worthwhile to riot and protest over, like the Vietnam War!
Also, if they smoked pot, like the Hippies, they'd mellow out. Alcohol is behind most of it...that and ignorance.
