jersey size in numbers?

i am buying an authentic jersey for my friend. he is 5 foot 8, and wears somewhat lengthy jerseys. what size should i try and get him

i am buying an authentic nfl jeresey for my friend who is 5 foot 8 inches and wears somewhat baggy jerseys.what size should i go for in numbers. ie 52.. 54?

It's tough to answer that question without knowing your friends build.

Use this as your guide:
48 Medium
50 Large
52 XL
54 XXL

I'd guess if he likes them baggy he'd be Large so 50.

I am the same height and a little stocky- I wear a large jersey as I like it a little baggy (I can wear a sweatshirt under it if it is cold). If he is just going to wear the jersey only medium would work, but i would bet he would like it a little larger. Very comfy. Also that is a great gift!
