It's actually called "Tivo". It is a system that allows you to record programs on a hard drive. You can rewind, fast forward and pause live TV with Tivo. It's pretty cool.

tivo is a dvr(digital video recoreder) there are some dvrs and tivo. tivo is a dvr but it is betterin my opinion. basically with a dvr or a tivo, yiu can record, pause, sometimes forward, rewind and do a lot of other things with your tv. so they recored general hospital with their tivo.

That just means that they digitally recorded it, with a DVR. (digital video recorder) TiVo is just one brand of recorder.
