You can get pregnant while you are having your period, everyone ovulates at different times and if you ovulate late in the cycle it is possible to get pregnant during your period.
And YES you can get pregnant postpartum while still bleeding. It is very important to wait until after you stop bleeding to have sex because you are at high risk of uterine infection during this time. Which is why they want you to wait until after your check up to insure the cervix has closed, the uterous has returned to normal, etc.
You can also get pregnant while nursing.

You are probibly not going to get pregnant right now but you shouldn't be having sex until at least six weeks after birth. It is not good for your internal healing and can cause damage. The bleeding you have after birth is not a period because it isn't a result of the egg failing to fertilize, its a result of having a baby living inside you for nine months.
If you must have sex, you should have your partner wear a plain condom (to avoid infection) just to be on the safe side.

You should be having sex until 6-8 weeks after you have the baby or until your doctor okays it. You can really hurti yourslef internally if you disobey your doctors orders and have sex before your body has healed. DON'T DO IT!! 10 minutes of sex isn't worth the risk of being unable to have another baby

Wait, so which you're 15 and you'd be a freshman next year? Did you get held returned? And only flat out tell them. Sorry yet you're stupid for a)no longer utilizing secure practices whilst quickly as, b)basically waiting 2 months, and c)having intercourse with an 18 year previous. He can get arrested and charged with statutory rape you recognize.

You could get pregnant on your period. Its happened before. I have a friend that got pregnant that way. So please don't have sex unless you are protected. Bleeding will not protect you from pregnancy.

You may ovulate at that time, yes.
I think the best option would at least be to pull out.. at 6 weeks post partum you are still healing and ejaculate could interfere with that.
