How hard is Final Fantasy III?

I don't have the game yet, and the four of my friends who do say it is really hard...Apparently, it's going to be even harder for me because I've never played Final Fantasy before....Does the guide (by Bradygames) help?

well, the difficulty level depends on each person that plays the game..

for some people, it's hard as nails, for others it's easy..

buy the game and see for yourself if it's easy or hard..

the game guide from Bradygames actually does help ya out in every which way including loose and stuck..

I've got both the game and the guide and the guide has helped me out more than once..
