I just boosted my car battery after 3 months of not driving my car. Is it enough to start driving around my car to get battery fully charged or should I goto the auto shop to get a complete recharge?

Always leave the booster on at least 15 minutes before attempting to start an engine. That way the battery will be charged enough to keep from overloading your charging system. Drive the car for at least 15 minutes afterward. There is no reason to spend money for something you already have equipment to do. Park it in a spot where you can get to it if necessary to boost it off again and let it sit overnight. If it starts without boosting, you are in business for a while. Check the age of the battery. If it has used more than 2/3 of it's warranty life, replace it with a new one.

Any time you have a completely dead battery, you should fully charge it before running the engine. This will prevent "alternator death". Alternators are made to maintain battery's and electrical systems, they are not battery chargers. You should have the battery load tested to make sure no damage was done letting it sit dead for so long.

The battery is too important to mess around with. Take it to the shop and just trade it in and get a new one. A $50-60 investment is worth it, compared to being stuck someplace waiting for a tow or a jump.

in case you get 14 ish volts with the engine working yet are only seeing 10.5 engine off then your battery has died. Your battery includes 6 cells; 5 are working and the different has shorted out internally. New battery could remedy your woes.

You might get away with it if you drive it continuously for a while. But your best bet is to get it recharged at a store. It will hold the charge better

Driving should charge it for normal use, but if you can afford to pay a few bucks to have it 100% charged it's probably a good idea.
