If your not really close to your parents...and you wish you were..whats something they could do to get closer to you? My sis ters into dir en grey (sorry if its spelled wrong) but shes always complaining that my dad hates her. He tells me he does but i know he doesnt...she just told us she was gay last year...shes only 17 but she does want to be close to him even tho she says she doesnt. whats something i could get them to do together that would make them get to know eaqch other? thanks for your answers!

The best way is to have your parents as well as your sister even you to sit down and express your feelings to one another. This way you will find out how your parents feel and your parents would find out why she was acting that way. In other words you will each learn more from each other rather than hiding it inside. She could explain why she turned gay, and how she feels about being gay. She should ask your dad if he accepts her for who she is. Thats the most important part. I hope everything goes well. and try it, i hope it works.
