for the most part, I think people are too involved with their own thoughts to really listen to others. There are a few people who really listen, and most of my friends -if I tell them I want to talk about something serious - really do listen. For the first five minuets, anyway. The environment is important. If I have something I want people to really hear, I found that a quiet room with no distractions. really helps.

In general, no. Most people are too busy thinking about what they are going to say next to really listen.

Yes, actually, if you talk to yourself, it is because what you are saying is mostly important, and even if there's no one around to listen, you do it because you want to be heard, somehow it eases your mind and prevents it from drifting away

People will hear you when you talk of logical things, if you are illogic then no one will hear you.
