I use cif kitchen cleaner for every day use along with a plastic scraper ~simply spray on, scrape off any food build up, then wipe of the the dirt with a damp cloth. Use a rough cloth to clean the hob when clean polish it up with a clean soft cloth. never ever use an abrasive it'll ruin your hob. I use hob brite to get rid off the glazed water marks you get with spills.

I rang up various consumer lines with that very question when I got my ceramic hob. Hob Brite is expensive compared to other cream cleaners and apparently your supermarket version, or Cif, are just as good and cheaper. Always rinse properly whatever you use.

Hi, I use CIF power cream spray for kitchens along with a plastic scraper to clean the hob ~ simply spray on, scrub gently with a rough cloth never use an abrasive pad ,use the scraper to get rid of the stubborn marks , then simply wipe off with a damp cloth and polish up the ceramics with a clean soft cloth. I only use the specialised hob cleaners for water marks left by spills .

Hob Brite is good, but the trick is to use paper towels or a J cloth kept for hob cleaning only. If you use the dish cloth it makes the hob smeary.

Yes I use hob brite and it is really good. It also leaves a lovely shiny finish and lasts a long time.
