Thanksgiving is not supposed to be about our individual religions or cultural backgrounds. Christians, Jews and Muslims can and do observe the holiday.
Outside of the US and Canada, however, there isn't a Thanksgiving day (maybe England has one, I don't know...)
India, Africa, Asia, and pretty much the rest of the world doesn't observe our Thanksgiving any more than they observe our Independence day or Cinco de Mayo...

I believe that Thanksgiving is an American tradition. Other countries and cultures are now catching on.
I live in the Bahamas which is very close to the United States, so we celebrate
Thanksgiving here as well.
Because it is a time to Thank God for His many Blessings and favors, hopefully one day the whole world would celebrate this day.

it's simple
Not all the countries and cultures have the same uses.
It's above all an anglosaxon use. Why countries that are not from this origin have to celebrate it???
You dont need a special day to thank for what you have. You can do it everydays.....
