mine is catching santa (my dad) putting gifts under the tree...i was like 4 aww!

Years ago when my older sister and I were much younger when our parent's were at work , we would very carefully pull the tape off of our present's , so we could see what we got .
If it was a toy we were really wanting , we would totally unrap it , open the box , and actually play with it .
When we were done , we would box it back up and very very carefully slide it back into the christmas paper , and we would use new scotch tape to tape them back up ...
We only got caught once lol !

I think my favorite Christmas memories are from my childhood when my parents were still married and we could have a real family Christmas!!!!!!!! Being a kid and going to Grandma's house for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!!!!!!!! Peeking at all the gifts under the tree looking for our names on the packages and shaking them to see if we could figure out what was inside!!! Just having a real family Christmas was so great!!! Sitting around the table eating dinner together, singing, having fun, and not having to worry about how life was going to be in the future. Also, my parents would take me to this house that was decorated in our area where we were living and there was someone dressed up as Santa and I would tell him what I wanted for Christmas and got my candy cane from Santa!!! Now, with my parents being divorced.....we have Christmas Eve at my sister's house and have Christmas Day Breakfast with my dad and his girlfriend!!!! My favorite christmas memories as an adult is getting together with special friends and going up to Christmas Lane together, seeing all the big houses that are totally lit up and decorated and being out with the people in the community. Then going back to my friend's house to have desert and open our gifts that we got for each other!!!!!!!!!! My other favorite memories from a few years ago, was going down to the beach and taking a harbor cruise and seeing all the houses and boats that were decorated along the harbor. waking up to all those presents and then having breakfast with my grandma and grandpa mom and daddy and my great uncle and aunt they were all alive then and now all i have is grandma and daddy. I was probably 7 or 8 at the time and that was a looooong time ago. I also got 20 dollars from my grandfather after all the packages were opened and we were eating Christmas breakfast.

I was about 9 or 10.. my sister said look behind the couch (after the other presents were done). Lo and behold was the Barbie Dreamhouse! I wanted that so badly. It is the cardboard fold up one, and I still have it :) Best present ever.

Mine was when me and my twin was about 12 we used to wait until everyone was down stairs and then search for the pressies ha ha when we did we also used to pull the sticky tape off and have a nose inside to see what pressies we got,but we used to pick the pressie what had boring slippers,knickers,socks lol.

I remember the year I got a baby alive doll. I was 5 years old. That one stinks out in my mind more then others for some reason.

mine is when i was a kid and our christmas was celebreted at granny's home..All the family, friends, and neighbords celebrating together....around a longggggggg table plenty of food
