I think I've cleared them and by next morning there are loads again. They like wet, and sometimes orange juice, but don't seem to really mass on food. They're always on shelves or the fridge door things like that.
Is anyone else bothered by them? Where are they coming from, have washed all shelves and cupboards. Covered all fruit and no food left out.
How can I get rid of them for good? Please.

I started getting fruit flies when I had a recycle kitchen waste bin in the kitchen, it seemed to draw them into the house. They covered everything and I had to start putting the fruit in the fridge ionstead of the fruitbowl.
The onset of the cold weather seemed to get rid of them which is just as well as nothing else did.
I can sympathise!

Buy a bottle of Joy Dishwashing Lemon Soap. Pour some in a small White plate and leave on the counter. It will draw them like flys and they will soon disappear.

They usually multiply and hang around in house plant compost. I had the same problem and I put the plant outside for 1/2 hr and they normally fly away.

We had this problem a few years ago, nothing seemed to do the trick until we bought a cheap UV zapper from our DIY superstore. It did a wonderful job, within a few days they were gone for good. Good Luck.
