She can forgive him because he wronged her. The rest of the world has nothing to "forgive". The rest of the world only has an opinion! (low as it may be)

Who ever said she forgave him? She just came to his wedding as per Katie, ya know one of her new BFF. The entire thing is crazy. I don't have an opinion, but we all know love is blind and makes us do stupid things.....hmmm. I personally think that the entire thing is just a promotional issue.
As for the whole world, well we all have our own opinions. I know my mom will never watch a Tom Cruise movie no matter what, she just dislikes him tremedously. The rest of the world will find someone else to down soon enough when something bigger hits the tabloids. The Tom will be forgotten, again.
But baby Suri is sooooooo cute.
