Actually I like that name! It sounds great! If you want just a change then spell it differently. My aunt's name is Sandy, when she was in high school she hated the way her name was spelled so she started spelling it a different way, Sandee. It stuck and now that she is an adult she has had her name legally changed to be spelled that way. Maybe you could try that for starters and see if maybe a change of spelling works. Or maybe you could start going by your middle name. Kristine is cute too!

Not many people like their name when they are young. I didn't either, but as you get older you realise that it doesn't matter too much, you are still you, you can shape the way you are and the person you want to be.
Ask people to call you Kay or Lynn, how you introduce yourself to people is what they will call you.
It is unusual having that apostrophe, but you can't tell just by sound.
It looks kind of cool for 2006, don't worry!

I think your name is very cute and I like the K with the apostrophe,it makes a statement that it is both original, sophisticated and mysterious all at the same time. You better claim that name girl! That name got it going on!

I think this is a great name, that is very unique...just like you. (though I can see why you don't want to stand out anymore than you already do) Would you really want to be 1 of 100 Ashley's, Madison's, or Taylor's? Your name is very pretty and if you are uncomfortable with it you could always ask to go by Kay, or Lynn, or Kristine, or Krissy..... :)
Good luck!

I don't like it. Its so confusing! Think of it like this it gives you a sense of individuality! There is no one else at your school named K'Lynn. Don't worry about fitting in. Just be yourself.I hated my name (Keely) because I was always the only Keely. Now I love it because I feel like an individual and not just another Brittany!!

It's original, and not that kind of "weird" original. It's a cute name. And besides, it's better to have an original name than to be one of the 20 "Kelly" (or whatever other very common name) of your school. You should be proud of your name! but if you definitely don't like it you could change it. I don't think you should, though.

Honestly, I really like it. It is different and being different is not a bad thing. I know what it feels like to want to fit in, especially at your age...but don't change who you are for the sake of other people(be the best "you" that you can be!)

you could change it to Katlynn. I would give you a peice of advice though.....parents spend a long time in deep thought about the names they choose for their children...the name they have chosen for you was chosen out of love and serious thought. your original name is very pretty and unique.
