Which one doesn't he have?
Here is their official website. You should be able to find something there.

Hope that helps.

Get him Rock of Ages: The Definitive Collection. It's a two disc album and it has all of the essential Def Leppard songs.

Pyromania and Hysteria are generally considered their signature albums. I've heard the new one they released this year is quite great.
I personally like High 'n Dry the best: even if it had a few rough spots, it was much harder, darker, more raw and unpolished than the albums that followed it.
Go to allmusic.com, see the reviews and ratings for all their albums (go to 'discography', to the 'albums' and 'compilations' tabs.)
allmusic's ratings are extremely reliable and unbiased.

Hysteria is definitely one of the best or Rock of Ages which covers virtually all of their biggest hits plus quite a lot of B sides.

Pyramania! It had a great many hits including- Rock of Ages, Fooling, Photograph. Too Late for Love, etc. One of their early albums, but still a great one.

Pyromania...if he's nearing 40, this is what he will like. It was my favorite in the 80's.
