They usually have socks under their shoes, then comes the pants with underwear. After comes the shirt and jacket if the weather is bad. Some may wear a hat but other prefers umbrella when it rains.
Be carefull if you see some with a pair of glass. It may means that they do have problems with theirs eyes...

each area has it's old dress style that nobody wears anymore except on festival or some holidays in different areas of France .....if that is what you were talking about ?
