We say that there is an unacceptable face of capitalism - that allows some people to become enormously wealthy while other starve. Then there are the people on the left who have a slogan for everything and still do the same as the people on the right.

i don't get your question. Are you mocking the pupils, or are you mocking the human beings who mock the pupils? For the checklist - all those issues you listed " hippy, dope-smoking, unicorn, la la form of place" is so preposterously ridiculously stereotypical that no person ought to take you heavily. i'm as liberal as they arrive, and NONE of those descriptors stick to to me. Or everyone I carry with.
