I like to use Ripit4Me, which actually uses 3 other programs to achieve copying DVD's, but by using this program, you can copy just about any DVD out there, even the latest DVD's with the new copy protections. If you go to this website you can get it and find all the info you need...

It is NOT illegal to remove the copy protection. Companies choose to put that on dvds for their own protection, not because some law makes them do it, or else ALL dvds would be copy-protected. According to law, you CAN make ONE backup copy of any cd or dvd you own, as long as it's for your personal viewing only. What IS illegal is to copy it and then resell it, give it away or show it publically.

It's called illegal copying, and is not only a Federal offense, but depending on the movie even an international offense......
