An iron is the solution for removing wax from fabric. Place newspaper on both sides of the fabric (or on top of the carpet), to blot up the wax once it melts from ironing over the newspaper with a medium-hot iron. Replace newspaper as needed.

Use a mild iron and a piece of paper.
First scratch the remains of wax on the cloth.
Put the cloth on an ironing board then a piece of paper over the stain and gently pass it with the iron. It should do the job.
Just in case put a piece of paper below the colth on the board

Remember mild iron you don't whant to burm up the paper and worse....
Good luck it is verry easy

You can try Goo-gone ( a citrus solvent). Try it on an inconspicuous spot first- like the underside of the hem, to check for discoloration. Whatever you do, don't try to melt it off, you'll only make an oil spot.

if the fabric isn't a synthetic, you could blow dry the table cloth with a hair dryer, till the wax has melted and then quickly clean it off.
