There's this girl at school, last year she'd always be staring at me like she wants to be friends. Then this past Friday (2 days ago) my mom and I went to this restaurant and she was there and she waved at me. I was pretty surprised since we never talked. Everyone says she prolly wants to be friends, and I would like to be friends with her too. I'm friends with her best friend who is very nice, and this girl seems really nice and kinda quiet. I'm kinda shy though, but I want to somehow tell her I'd like to be friends, or at least talk to her, but I'm a little shy. What to do?

Just go up to her and say something like "you seem like a really nice person do you want to be friends and hang otu sometime" just something really easy.
This is actually a coinsidence because right now I justv met this guy who was always looking at me like he was interested in being my friend, and then just 5 days ago he came up to me and asked if I wanted to hang out with him. It turns out hes one of the nicest people I've ever met.
So take a chance and just tell her you want to be her friend, and you guys could be friends forever. Hope it all works out!

Take her signals as a sign for you to move in and talk to her. I know that you are shy, but if you don't talk to her, then you may never have that chance to be her friend. Talk to her and you may be suprised. If you are that shy, then write her a note. I used to do that to guys that I liked. and it WORKED. lol.

Good Luck!

Jonas_Bro,
I think the ball is already rolling in the right direction. It looks like the timing has not been exactly right, but it will happen. When it does be ready to talk to her, I think everything is going to turn out just right.

Just ignoring her wave would be crushing to a shy person. Just say "Hi, I say you wave at me the other day....." Then go from there!

welll when she waves..u wave back
when she smiles at you, you smile back
when she talks to you talk back and get a common interest...
or just be urself and sooner or later ull become friends ..its not tht hard..just don it slowly and it'll get to tht point!

make sure to say hello every time you see her...maybe even just write your # on a piece of paper and hand it to her in the halls and say..."hey, call me sometime"
