Short Answer: No.

Long Answer: Only under extreme circumstances could this be possible. One example would be the state determines that your parents are "unfit" to be your guardians and then your gf's parents adopt you.

I think in some states it's also possible to marry at 16, but that may need parental consent as well.

Your parents don't lose legal guardianship until you turn 18. Technically, if you try this without their permission they can call up the police and haul you back home. Do this more than once and you can be classified as a delinquent and they can have you put into a detention center (or a ward).

In other words, don't do it. Wait it out. If you're relationship is serious, then 2 years will be a drop in the bucket. If your relationship bombs out, then you won't have mad e a series of stupid mistakes that will haunt you.

In the UK? How old is your girlfriend. You need to think about this. It's an offence to 'sleep' with a minor (which is what you are at the moment). What are you going to live on? Who's going to pay the bills? And don't say 'My girlfriend', because no girlfriend is going to put up with a lazy good for nothing bumming off her for the rest of her natural life!!!! You may be in love now, but look ahead a couple of years.
The other people to think of are your collective parents. Are they so dead set against you getting together? Is the girlfriend older, and if so by how much. If it's a huge amount older, you must understand their pain and worry over your choice. They'll be thinking of you and your future (they may even use the phrase 'throwing your life away', and as far as a career goes, they may have a point. 16 is VERY young to start a relationship with nothing to support you (monetary or family).
Think carefully, very carefully before you make any decision.
I wish you luck and happiness.

rIn theory you could but your parents could put quite a few barriers in your way if they could prove that you were putting yourself at risk o were in some way vulnerable, they could enforce your return or worse the authority may put you in care. If you leave home you will not receive benefits until you are 18 unless you can prove there are overwhelming reasons for you to do so. Finally, leaving home is a serious thing, not to be done on a whim are you sure that your relationship with your girl is secure to put up with the strains and stresses of life with little money? Is your relationship with your parents poor.if it is , is there some third party that could help you resolve things (an aunt or adult friend for example) Don't forget your education, and ember even if you are allowed to leave home the state won't let you leave school till the designated day.

Yes, but have a good long think about it first. Dont be burdening yourselves with all of the pressure. Both of you go out and enjoy your youth.Get jobs go on holidays and out with friends. You dont need the hassle of debt and responsibility at such a young age.You have got plenty of time to do all of that stuff when you're older. Then if you are still together in your twenties, then move in together. But for now live life to the full and enjoy.Youth does'nt last that long you know.

as long as you are in the UK, then yes you can. BUT if your parents want to contest it, they can go to the police and place an appeal for you to be made to return, right up until you are 16.

If you do not seem in any danger though, and as long as your living standards are good, the police wouldn't necessarily come down on their side.
