The list is unnecessary, for I already know my favorite Johnny Depp characters. Gilbert Grape (from What's Eating Gilbert Grape.) I adore his patience and understanding, especially towards his little brother Arnie (Leo DiCaprio.) He just wants what's best for the family, but sometimes gets lost in his bitterness towards the situation he is in. Sam (from Benny + Joon.) He has no cares in the world. He is so whimsical and can look past Joon's "problems" and see an actual person, whereas others wouldn't look. Plus, Johnny Depp looks adorable in a top hat. Edward (from Edward Scissorhands.) I adore his innocence and desire to make everyone happy. However, this causes people to take advantage of his naivete. It's tragic, but it just shows how people like to manipulate other people who are kinder than them. I only watch this when I'm depressed though, lol. I love Victor in Corpse Bride, but he doesn't really "act" out the character so I don't think he counts. I also love John Dillinger, but he isn't really playing a character. I mean he is, but based on a real person so he kind of isn't. Make sense? I'm definitely disappointed in him for continuing that drab "Pirate" series for so long. It's lost is merit, and has become vapid throughout the years. If he continues to portray that generic "Captain Jack Sparrow" character that he has become infamous for I will be extremely disappointed.

i have never seen the film but i looked it up on www.imdb.com it was on channel 4 about a year ago the film Blow i taped it then the next day taped over it by mistake so i there for having never seen the film but i would like to,
