Wow that would be hard to deal with. The father is the one who was up in the night and built a relationship with this boy. How could some stranger possible be one hundred percent sure when he has not had the DNA test done himself. Sounds like someone is stirring up trouble.

Your friend needs to talk with his spouse about this call. His wife will either tell the truth or lie. The only way you will know for sure is the DNA test. Which he should take first before he asks her. She may refuse this test on her child. Sorry about advising to be deceptive to her, but he is going to want to know.
Note: this is most probably an evil attempt at causing marital problems by someone that hates him or her. People can be mean!

If he is aware of there potentially being another father and he chooses to stay with the woman and continues to accept the child then he should stay in the relationship. Men in relationships have on the side affairs and babies ALL the time and a lot of women stay with them regardless. It's a matter of what the two of them want. People make mistakes true, but one mistake can be a costly one. Let them work it out for themselves. And he should definitely have the paternity test done unless he loves the child unconditionally and it doesn't matter.

It would be a personal decision as to whether or not there should be
a DNA test done ...What does the mother have to say about it ?
You might just decide to ignore the guy, tell him not to call back and
if he does, get a restraining order for harrassment against him.
He has no rights and cannot force you to get a DNA test done.

If this is true than obviously your wife or girlfriend was cheating on you. So I would start by asking her who so and so is? Take it from there, but I most certainly would get and DNA test to make sure he is or isn't. Might be the end of the relationship, but I would want to know for sure. Good Luck.

Until you know for certain...don't pursue anything. He could be lying, looking for money...anything. Be cautious until results are confirmed.
