I would say only when she begins to feel self conscious about them. Some people I'm sure will say not before age X, but in today's world the children are under more and more pressure to look a certain way and they may be more concerned about it than previous generations. If a girl is worried about her legs then it may be okay to let her shave. I would say no earlier than 9, though, unless by chance she got her period really really early.

I started shaving them in the fifth grade. I wanted to be cool. Imagine. All the cool girls in school walking around with band-aids up and down their shaved legs.
I would say a girl should be at least 11 or 12.

I started when I was 10.
But whenever you feel like you need to be shaving your legs just tel you mom. She shouldn't have a problem with it at any age as long as it not to late

Whenever she wants or feels the need to.
It's her legs. It's for no one else to decide, not even a parent.
There are no harmful effects of doing it too early so why should there be a set age? If they are young all the parent is required to do is make sure they use an electric razor (at first) so they don't cut themselves.

I think a girl should be able to shave her legs when she has tons of hairs.

6th Grade- or in middle school is best i believe. I asked my mom when i was in 6th grade and she said okay. I regret it now i feel like its a burden. But then i don't because how unattractive would it be to have hairy legs at a dance or at a club in a skirt. :(
