to not just answer these problems but get the grasp of the concept behind it, here are some ways and concepts you need to know. copying answers wont help. so here's some stuff which could help you understand it better.
you need to get your basics straight. you have to know how to add subtract multiply and divide integers to solve these. once youve got that, you have to master the
distributive property along with the other properties.
your problem involves distribution of constants. you have to understand this formula which shows the distributive property
n=constants a=variable, b=variable
a&b could be just about any variable or set of variables.
n(a+b)=na+nb
ex. 4(x+y)=4x+4y
it really doesnt matter whether the answer is 4y+4x because they are equal
4[(c+d)+(e+f)]=4(c+d)+4(e+f)...which can still be further simplified into:
4c+4d+4e+4f
10(x+10.10)=10x+ 10(10.10)=10x+10
other various tips to understand lessons at school:
-ask your teacher either by raising your hand or after class.this takes a lot of courage but it helps. you learn less by not asking questions when you dont understand
-read the lesson in advance- this gives you an overview on the topic and helps you straighten out the stuff you dont know.
-practice-exercises given in school may not always be enough so you mat want to practice on your own. math takes a lot of practice.
-dont study by wrote- memorizing without understanding will rob you of the benefits that you were supposed to gain by comprehending the lesson
-you need to understand this topic or else it will be hard for you when you move on to later topics. math is a foundation subject. what you learn in the past will be applied later on.
happy studying!and hope this helps

3+5(a-4)
use distributive property and multiply the 5 with both the a and the 4
3+5a-20
then add like terms together
17+5a

do that for all of them, and you'll be good to go. Just make sure when you're multiplying negatives, you leave the answer as a negative.

3+5(a-4)
3+5a -20 ...multiplied 5 by a and -4
5a-17

4(b+8)-7b
4b+32-7b multiplied 4 by b and 8
32-3b

7(t+8.5)-5t+4
7t+59.5 -5t+4 .....multiplied 7 by t and 8.5
2t+63.5

-8(m+2)-19m
-8m-16-19m..multiplied -8 by m and 2
-27m-16

3+5(a-4)
3+5= 8
a-4=a4
divide 4 from both sides a4 divided by 4 = a
8 divide by 4 = 2
just do the opposite of what it tells you if it tells you to multiply, you divide
that means the answer is a=2

3+5(a-4)= 3+5a-20= 5a-17
4(b+8)-7b= 4b+32-7b= 32-3b
7(t+8.5)-5t+4= 7t+59.5-5t+4= 63.5-2t
-8(m+2)-19m= -8m-16-19m= -27m-16

Remember the order of operations:

First perform any calculations inside parentheses.

Next perform all multiplications and divisions, working from left to right.

Lastly, perform all additions and subtractions, working from left to right.

Remember that if there is no symbol between a number and a parenthisis or variable, then you multiply.

Just distribute the parentheses.

3+5a-20

4b+32-7b=-3b+32

And so on.
