i know someone who is in love with somebody, but her parents doesn't like the guy... and i have a teacher who have an experience, came up with the theory that if your parents doesn't agree with the guy you are dating, then the relationship will not work... what do you think? do you agree to her theory??

Yes for my ex hubsand married me despite his parents not liking me and our marriage ended due to him always trying to please his family and not sticking up for me and our marriage UGH!!

According to me when we love someone we love him or her from the deep core of our heart . If your love is true ,so there is no need to be furious . Try your best level to persuade your parents for the marriage . If they don't agree , listen to their decision clearly and don't take any step that breaks your term with your family . Relationship needs a lot of understanding and time to build , but it can be break in a second with our one wrong step . Remember whatever our parent's do is for our wellbbeing . Think carefully and take a decision in a cold mind . Try to forgot those memories you have spent with your love . I know its difficult , but in it lies everybodys happiness . As my experience I think your teachers theory is quite right . Do whatever your family want you to do , it can save the life of you , your lover and your family and do not do something which hurt your parent's . Have faith in Allah . in both of my failed realionships the family ( parents ) where a contributing factor if you fall in love with a person who spends more time trying to pleas their parents you will LOSE !
