I dont want to hear "not all americans are fat..." i know, its generalisation, in general why are americans so fat? Its probably because they eat out all the time and drive everywhere, and MCDONALDS, even "Dining out" has it's own category on this website, omg. . I mean, i hear americans say that there are fat people in every country, but noway near as many in america, it's like a serial killer using the pathetic excuse that there's a little bad in everyone.

The truth is that it isn't what Americans are eating but the portions of it. Leave the US and go to any other fast food outlet be it in Europe or Asia and you won't find the same giant sizes.

I am an American. I see that In other countries they ride bikes and walk everywhere. In Italy, I hear everyone rides bikes! I mean people can't even walk a little they have to drive and spend money on gas. Also there are some lazy people. I agree I think Americans should be much more healthy! Also eveyrone goes to Mcdonalds. And I hear that portions are smaller in other countries.

I think Americans have extra money to spend which they use to eat more. Generally, all those who eat more than it is needed are fat. Same is the case with the policemen of Indian sub-continent and Muslim Mullas. They eat too much and are generally fat.

yeah, i think it is oils in the diet...
the food scientists and the companies they work for are to blame.
there are many people in the world who dont exercise much and dont have a serious weight problem. being a little overweight is not a big deal, but there are way too many people in america with serious obesity.
even among children.

I have this for you... Why does it matter?
Does fat Americans bother you? Do they sit at your door step eater their cheeseburgers and fries? I highly doubt it, so why in the least should you care?
I'm a very happy American, not fat, but if I were fat. By golly that's my business and not yours. For Christ sakes you live on the other side of the world. Get over it. If I want to ride around in my gas hog of an SUV and eat McDonald's all day long and then drive 10 feet, because its to far to walk, then by damn it I'm going to. But why the hell should you care what I do? Or any American for that matter. I don't criticize you for everything you and your like do.
